Haul (yes another one)

So i've got a party tomorrow and some friends wanted to get something new to wear, as I have no money I couldn't although I would of liked to :( but I did have some money left over from the other day in the form of £3 so I wasn't sure what I would get but I wanted to get something..

Natural Collection Strawberry Body Spray £1.99 Boots

Nivea Deodrant £1 Superdrug

What bargains :) I was looking for a body spray and this one is amazing, it smells of really sweet strawberrys which I love, Boots also do other smells which also smell great :) The deodrant was on offer which is why it was cheap. All in all im very happy with my purchases :)

There will be an outfit of the day this weekend for what I wore for the party im going to :)

L'Oreal Hot Straight Review

This is a product that I have used for at least 4/5 years now and it is the one that I will probably use for much longer. It is a heat protectant which you apply on using your hands through the mid - ends of the hair, I always make sure I apply more to the ends than anything else though as my ends are the worst part of my hair. This product leaves my hair silky soft without making it feel heavy and greasy which most heat protectants I have tried leave my hair feeling probably because its so thin.

Pro's
- Leave's hair soft (I always get compliments on how soft my hair is)
- Avoids feeling heavy and greasy
- Protects so that you don't ruin your hair quite as much when straightening
- Its cheap and does the job so you don't need to spend more money when you don't need to
- Last a long time (at least 4 months using an almond size amount every other day on mid length hair)

Con's
- Does leave excess in your hands so you will need to wash them after use
- You may want another heat protectant that is a spray to use the second day (I only wash my hair every 2 days) as this isn't the sort of product you would apply the next day, I personally don't but its up to you :)

I highly recommend that all of you buy this if you use heat appliances on a daily basis :)

Haul :)

So the boyf is on the ps3 with my sister so I thought I would take the chance to show you the few bits I bought in town today :)

First up I popped into Boots which is definately a shop I couldn't live without...

Barry M nail paint in Turquoise £2.95

Barry M nail paint in Grey £2.95 which I applied as soon as I got in :) (sorry about messyness this was before I cleaned them up)

As I spent over £5 I got given a £5 off No7 so I decided to get the Eyeshadow Brush which is oh so soft. It reminds me of the Mac 217 Blending Brush although this only cost me £1 :)

I then wanted a small purse which could fit into a going out bag for the evening and I found this on a random market stall in the centre which I thought was rather cute and it was only £2! what a bargain :)

We then wandered around where I got some other unrelated things which includes 2 cards and some passport pictures for my provisional, which arent very good :( but oh well I ran out of chances to retake! :(

08 May 2010

Im still here :)

Sorry for lack of posting recently, school is crazy got all my final exams coming up for my A levels so been doing lots of revision lately :( which is ever so boring. My boyfriend is visiting atm (long distance relationship) so I won't be doing another post for about a week until he's gone cause its our 2 year anniversary :)

We will hopefully be going to town this week so will do a mini haul as I don't have much money so all im going to get is some barry m nailvarnishes as everybody has been raving about them and there so much cheaper! Also got to get some lovely passport pictures for my provisional as I need some ID not to learn to drive cause its so expensive to insure a car now and definately won't be able to afford it when I hopefully go to uni :)

I have just bought the Advance Techniques Dry Ends Serum from Avon for £2.40 (half price) I used it once last night and already my split ends don't look as bad which I was amazed by because I have the worst split ends atm. I will do a full review once I have used this for a couple more weeks to tell you whether its amazing or ok cause it can't be terrible for that price :)

I would like to know from you lovely people any products you would recommend for dry/damaged hair that has helped make your hair stronger :)

Tresemme Heat Protectant Review

So I've had this product for a couple of weeks now and thought that I would do a review for you all :)

I like this product, its nice and makes my hair very soft and smooth but I do have some problems with it in that I find that on the day after showering and using the product my hair seems to feel greasier than it did when I was using the L'Oreal Hot Straight hair protectant which is rather annoying because its so much easier to use and apply than the L'Oreal.

Pro's
- My hair is so smooth and soft and I have recieved several compliments since using this
- Does protect hair from all sorts of heat
- Easy application as it have a spray applicator so once sprayed on all you have to do is comb it through
- Makes hair look shiny and healthy
- Cheap as it was only about £4? im not quite sure

Con's
- I do find my hair to be greasy on the second day more than normal but that might be different as my hair is veryy thin so if your hair is thicker you might not have this trouble
- Even though the applicator is easy to use I find it difficult to hold, im not quite sure why but I do.. this isn't a reason not to buy it though

Overall I would recommend you buy this and try it as its a good product and even if you buy it and decide its not for you its not expensive :)
