NOTD

First of all I want to apologize for being MIA for a few days, I have no excuse other than I've been lazy and couldn't be bothered to blog :( sorryyyy im back now :)

This is ELF's Lilac, it is one of the new colours they have just bought out and I have to say its a lovely colour. To compare it is similar to the new lilac in the Barry M ice cream collection however I don't know exactly how similar because everytime I go into my local Boots or Superdrug it's always out of stock which is rather annoying. Anyway I love this colour is a very nice pastel colour however the formulation for this is rather terrible, this is three coats of the colour however I could of done more but I stopped myself. The pigmentation of this nailvarnish is horrible and when I applied the first coat it looked almost like i'd applied clear nailvarnish. I do like the colour but it does seem like a lot of effort to go through for a colour thats only going to last a couple of days. It only costs £1.50 so you can't expect the perfect product so it doesn't make me regret buying it :)

NOTD

I did my nails in this colour about 5 days ago now and i've just been too lazy to post it up and then when I did try to do it last night the picture wouldn't upload :/ anywayyyyy..

This is ELF's Desert Haze and it's a truely lovely colour which I expect I will be using quite a lot during the summer. The formulation of the product is very good, its not too thick and not too runny, in this picture I have on a base coat, 2 layers of the colour and a top coat. The first coat of the colour was very streaky and I was a little worried but applying a thicker second coat it evened it out and looked perfect :) I am glad that I have this colour as it's a lovely nude which is what I was looking for, it definately has a lilac undertone to it which only adds to my liking of this colour. It didn't stay on for long (but this may be due to my rather crap top coat) without chipping but its definately worth buying and for £1.50 you can't really go wrong. You can buy this from the ELF website :)

NOTD

Yes its another NOTD (can you tell im pretty addicted to painting my nails at the moment?) :)

As you can see this is an Avon Mirror Shine in Blue Steel, I like the colour of this although looking at the colour on my nails its more lilac than blue steel but all the same its a nice colour. The actual product however its not so nice.. the colour is very hard to apply and even harder to apply well and evenly over the whole nail. I found that It was drying before I actually covered the whole nail so when I went over the same bit it would clump and look a mess. It was slightly easier to do the second coat but still not really worth the hassle because its not a very good quality nailvarnish and it looks quite streaky on the nails so im affraid to say that I wouldn't recommend this to somebody to buy :(

With Flash

Natural Light

I love this colour :) although it doesn't seem to last very long on my nails before chipping even with a base and top coat. The applicator is rather awkward to use as well as it moves but I don't mind that much because I like the colour a lot and it also only cost me like £1.50 because I used the £5 off voucher in Boots a while ago :)

Barry M nail paint in Turquoise. This is an amazing colour i actually love it and even if it clashes with some of my clothes I don't care because I love this colour so much :) It can be a little bit hard to work with because its such a bold colour but its definately worth it :)

Haul :)

So the boyf is on the ps3 with my sister so I thought I would take the chance to show you the few bits I bought in town today :)

First up I popped into Boots which is definately a shop I couldn't live without...

Barry M nail paint in Turquoise £2.95

Barry M nail paint in Grey £2.95 which I applied as soon as I got in :) (sorry about messyness this was before I cleaned them up)

As I spent over £5 I got given a £5 off No7 so I decided to get the Eyeshadow Brush which is oh so soft. It reminds me of the Mac 217 Blending Brush although this only cost me £1 :)

I then wanted a small purse which could fit into a going out bag for the evening and I found this on a random market stall in the centre which I thought was rather cute and it was only £2! what a bargain :)

We then wandered around where I got some other unrelated things which includes 2 cards and some passport pictures for my provisional, which arent very good :( but oh well I ran out of chances to retake! :(

Rimmel London - Azure

Last night I decided to paint my nails before I went back to school and as the weather has been nicer than normal I went for a brighter colour.

(No there not perfect, im not that good at painting nails)

This is after I have put on a top coat as well. As you can see the colour matches what is in the bottle pretty well. It does stay on for a fairly long time which is good. However there is a bit of a sparkle to this colour so if you don't like sparkle on your nails this won't be for you, but if you do like it then I highly recommend buying this product :)
